Tony Komery's passion for music was sparked as a teenager when he first encountered the sounds of the Gipsy Kings, shortly after beginning his journey with classical guitar. His fascination deepened when he discovered the music of Flamenco guitar legends like Paco de Lucía, Tomatito, Vicente Amigo, and others. Captivated by the power, rhythm, and emotion of Flamenco, Tony immersed himself in the style, collecting books and CDs from masters such as Manuel Granados. His dedication led him to Spain, where he took a course with Manuel Granados.
Tony continues to hone his Flamenco skills, participating in numerous workshops with renowned artists, including Antonio Rey, Santiago Lara, Pepe Piñana, and Curro Piñana.
In addition to his Flamenco expertise, Tony has knowledge and experience playing electric and acoustic guitar, as well as other instruments like the ukulele, bass, piano, and more.
In 2022, Tony released his original Flamenco composition on various platforms, titled "Bayti," which means "My Home."
His expertise and passion for Flamenco have made him a respected teacher and performer, first in Syria, then in Jordan. In April 2016, Tony moved to Canada, where he has continued his musical journey as a music teacher and guitar performer.
